Subwoofer Reflection

On this project, I used a picture of a JL Audio subwoofer and made a copy of it so that when I flip it upside down and drag the gradient over it, it looks like a reflection of the image. I also added text below the subwoofer to make it look more official.

Adding Transparent Type

For this project, I took a picture of the inside of a home and then added text. I did not add regular text though. I lowered the opacity on it so it looked transparent and also made it vertical. Then, there was more text I added.

Lightning Effect

The purpose of this project was to make lightning and use it in an appropiate way. So I made the lightning first and then imported a picture of a city. I then made a news logo. The whole thing was going to be a storm crew advtertisement and it looked like it at the end.

Blending Two Images

I used a picture of a soccer playing looking away and then a picture of three soccer players coming for the ball. I then blended the two images by using a fading eraser and going over the main photo so then the second photo shows up. It looked like an actual DVD cover.

Using iPhone as the Background and Focal Point

For this photo, I took a picture of an iPhone and free transformed it to make it fit the whole background good and then lowered the opacity to make it darker. And then I put the original copy in the bottom right hand corner and I also added text. It look official when I get done. This project is very similar to the watch one.

Snowmobile Fade-Away Reflection

I took a picture of an Arctic Cat snowmobile and then made a copy of it. After I made the copy, I used to free transform to flip the picture. I then used the gradient and drug it over the flipped copy to make it look like its reflection. It looked really good at the end I think.

Shadow of Seth Rogen

This project was the same as the one with Gabrielle Iglesias but this one is with Seth Rogen. I made the copy of him still and used the free transform to make it look like his real shadow. This photo was a little trickier because he had a monster thing standing next to him.

Shadow of Gabrielle Iglesias

I found a picture of Gabrielle Iglesias where he was standing on a white background. I then made a copy of him but made him all black so then I could use the free transform to drag the black copy and make it look like his shadow. At the end, it looked almost real.

Wrapping Text Around Soccer Ball

I took a picture of a soccer ball first. Next, I typed the text I wanted and then I used the free transform tool to make the text appear as if it wraps around the soccer ball. Also, I added a gradient to the background to give it a little more emphasis.

Popping Out Wedding Picture

I took a picture of a wedding couple walking together and then took the lasso tool and selected just the couple and then trimed the background so that they would appear as they're popping out. I think that this would be a good technique for an actual wedding invitation.

Popping Dirtbiker Out

On this project, I opened up the photo of the dirtbiker first. I then took the lasso tool and went around one half of him that I wanted to be popped out. Then I deleted the background of that side and it made him look popped out. I added text to it next then.

Business Card

I created my own business card and for my business I chose a lawn care business. I found a picture of green grass and set that as the background as my card. I then blended the edges a little bit and added text and a picture of a lawn mower. I made the tire marks of the mower spell the business name out.

Curling Type Around Pop Can

I first found a blank pop can and then made it a solid color. Then I added, text and curled it around the pop can to make it look as if the text were actually on the pop can. I added bullet holes on it also cause that was kind of the theme for my pop can.

Curling Type- Pantone

This project was a Pantone advertisement. I opened up the photo of the girl first. I then curled the text around the Pantone bottle and then added text to the photo. I thought it turned out very good and looked like an actualy advertisement that they would have.

Using One Photo as the Background and the Focal Point

I used a picture of a watch for this project and I made the watch big and put it in the background and lowered the opacity so that it was pretty dark and then put the original watch in the bottom right hand corner. I then added text to finish it off. It looked very good when I got done.

Adding a Photo to a Billboard

I found a picture of a blank billboard first then I chose a photo I wanted to put in the billboard which was a guy from the movie "The Hangover." I used the free transform to put the photo into the billboard. When I was all finished, it looked pretty good and looked realistic.

Realistically Adding a Sign or Logo to an Existing Photo

For this project, I took a picture of a semi with a blank trailer on it and then opened up a photo of a sandwich. I then added text to the trailer. To get the realistic look, I took the lines and dirt off the trailer and posted it over top of the text and sandwich. This gave it the full effect and in the end, made it very realistic.

Putting An Image Inside Another Image

For this project, I used the picture of the cell phone and a picture of the two little girls. I then transformed the picture of the girls into the screen of the phone. After that, I added a solid color arc which made it look more official and not so plain. In the end, it looked like an actual ad out of a magazine or on a billboard.

Sport Car Motion

I used a picture of a sports car that I thought would look good with a blurred background. I then used the lasso tool to go around the car and select it and then used motion blur to blur the background and make it look as if the car were actually moving. I think this picture looks very realistic and looks good all together.

Fist Stamp

To create this stamp, I used the picture of a fist and an American flag. I made a white border around the picture then knocked half circles out of the border to give it the stamp look. I then added different text to the stamp to make it look more like an official stamp.

Obama Stamp

On this particular stamp, I used a picture of Obama and a picture of the American flag. I cut Obama out of a photo with a lasso tool and posted him on the American flag picture then lowered the opacity of the American flag to pop out Obama more. I then knocked the holes out of the border to give it the stamp effect and then added text. I think this Obama stamp could really be turned into a stamp.

Eagle Stamp

For this stamp, I used a picture of an eagle on the American flag because I think it really shows American pride and is something that could actually be made into a stamp. I punched the holes out of the border on the side to give it the stamp texture then added "In God Is Our Trust" to the picture.

DVD Menu

Creating a DVD menu is not necessarily one technique, its four put all in one project. First, I started out with the background picture, which is a picture of the Boondock Saints. Then, I put the four little pictures in and put a glow around them and also added noise to the background picture. All this makes it look like an actual DVD menu for the Boondock Saints.

Putting an Image in a Monitor

I opened the photo that I wanted to post into the computer screen first which was the picture of the Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax. I then opened up the picture of the laptop and pressed Command + T which brought up the free transform. I used the free transform to fit the image into the laptop screen.

Car Motion

In this photo, I took a picture of a Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax. Then, I selected the area behind and around the truck and used the motion blur effect. The motion blur effect will make the truck seem as if it was actually in motion. I also added some text so it is kind of like a car ad.
